President: Ambica Sharma '27
Ambica is a third-year student from Arlington, VA pursuing a B.S in Chemistry with a specialization in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Biology, on the pre-medical track. She is also involved in undergraduate research with the Department of Chemistry, studying electrodeposition. Outside ACS, she is a part of the Biology Society, All-Girls Stem Society, and the College Science Scholars Program. Ambica likes to play tennis and basketball, cook, and bake in her free time.

Vice President: William Butler '26
William is a fourth-year student from Franklin, VA getting a B.S. in Chemistry with a specialization in Chemical Education. Outside of ACS, he is involved in the UVA Genomics Society and is interested in research regarding STEM education. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and family, going to the beach, and listening to music.

Marketing Officer: Laura Pfitzer '26
Laura is a current Chemistry major and Spanish minor excited to spread love for chemistry throughout the community! Outside of ACS, she is a part of AXE, the social chair for YDSA, and the communications coordinator for UVA's Planned Parenthood Generation Action. Laura loves research and hopes to continue to work in research involving Chemistry and medicine.

Graduate Advisor: Julia McAfee, PhD '27
Julia is a fourth-year PhD student in Dr. Cliff Stains’ lab, where she focuses on developing targeted theranostics for precision drug delivery with dual photoacoustic signal output. She is originally from Chapel Hill, NC and received her B.S. in chemistry with a minor in biology and neuroscience from UNC Ashville in 2022. Outside of ACS, Julia is involved in the Graduate Student Council, Graduate Peer Mentor program, and the volunteer group L.E.A.D. (Learning through Experiments, Awareness, and Demonstrations). She hopes to pursue a career as a manager in the biotechnology industry working on advancing medicine for human health.
